About Heroes’ Mile – Veteran Recovery Center

Heroes’ Mile is an inpatient treatment center that specializes in treating military service veterans experiencing substance abuse, post-traumatic stress (PTS), military sexual trauma (MST), and other invisible wounds of war. The staff at Heroes’ Mile are fellow military personnel to provide veterans with an environment necessary for their healing. All programs at Heroes’ Mile are designed by veterans, for veterans. Multiple therapy approaches are available to help veterans understand the root causes of addiction, including art therapy, equestrian therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR Therapy, and traumatic incident reduction (TIR).
