About Wellness Resource Center

At the Wellness Resource Center in Boca Raton, Florida,  we don’t just “treat.” We work in close collaboration with our residents to provide them the tools for long-term recovery. With our team of therapists, nurses, case managers, and counselors, as well as a psychiatrist, psychologist, and nutritionist, we provide our clients a developmental treatment plan that grows with them.

We form our treatments around the belief that dependency and mental health disorders are medical diseases that require intervention and holistic treatment. To us, this means that everyone who comes through our doors is an individual who is suffering from addiction due to unique, underlying issues and should be treated based around their background. Every person has their own personal history, values, and worldview that shape who they are. Those things don’t go away after they’ve developed a chemical dependency and embracing them can be important to recovery.

We have found that many who are suffering from addiction, are simultaneously suffering from another mental health condition. Often times, people who are suffering from disorders like anxiety or depression will self-medicate with substances. At Wellness Resource Center, we start by identifying these underlying conditions and treating them while we treat the person’s addiction. Looking at only the addiction, in many cases, is like treating the symptoms while ignoring the true cause of the dependency. If you are looking for treatment that understands you in South Florida, then look no further.

Testimonials

""Some of the most amazing people that I know are Alumni from this facility! That’s a true testament to the treatment they received from the start of their journey. The staff is so caring and compassionate. It’s been my experience professionally with WRC, that they go above and beyond to make sure they can provide MH and SA treatment for anyone who is struggling. I highly recommend them!""

""Wellness absolutely saved our son's life. He had gone through three 28 day programs - all fine - but couldn't sustain until we found Wellness. They take GREAT care with patients. Supervision is strong but even more important is the caring, intelligent therapy and support. They followed him through every step so God Bless them. We have our son.""

""Wellness was and is one of the most important elements in saving our son and in bringing back to us the boy we knew and love. We are so grateful for their organization, their therapists and psychologists, their comprehensive approach to treatment and overarching understanding of the depth of the problem involved, and the complexity of this the illness.""
